If you are a friend of mine on Facebook or follow me on social media, then you’ve heard me talk about Pure Barre. I just can’t help myself, y’all this work out is seriously the BEST work out I’ve ever done. Now I can’t lie to you; it’s also the HARDEST work out I’ve ever done. Sam even went with me on the “Bring on the Men” class and he was BEAT! One point during the work out he leaned over to me and said, “Why does she (the instructor) hate us?!” haha! Don’t tell him I told you that, because he told me not to share…what happens on this blog, STAYS on this blog, right?
It’s not that Kelsey (the owner of Pure Barre in Fort Worth) and the other instructors are mean, rude, or even hard on you; the work out is just THAT good. As for the instructors, they are actually quite amazing. So kind, encouraging, and wanting you to get the best work out you can. I mean, that IS why you came there right?! They challenge you not to give up, encourage you when you are rockin’ it, and make you WANT to push yourself and come back for more. Honestly, I don’t know if I would have kept coming back if it weren’t for them. Seriously, if you’re local you should come to a class with me and you’ll know EXACTLY what I am referring to! In fact, I JUST celebrated my 50th class last week, how crazy is that?!
Now let’s get to the nitty gritty. It’s easy for me to talk a lot of talk about how much I love Pure Barre and how awesome it is, but it doesn’t mean much unless I have stats and pictures to back it up right?! Well here is your proof my friend! I didn’t take an official first picture because I forgot, probably due to the brand new baby and mom of 5 fog I was in, but here is one from about 2 weeks into Pure Barre. Yeah, I was “tucking” in Vera Bradley…why not?!
Below is where I was intentional about my pictures. I knew my tank fit better, but it wasn’t until I actually put the pictures side by side that I could REALLY see the difference!
And finally, just yesterday I snapped this picture and let me just say…life is GOOD! I know I have more weight to lose, and more shaping up to do, but let’s just relish this moment of how far I’ve come. Y’all this is FOR REAL!
I’ve lost 20lbs. and counting not to mention I am becoming WAY more toned than before I even got pregnant. Yes, pre baby the scale said I was smaller, but I was still the same shape I was when I was 211lbs. That’s something you have to actively change and it won’t happen by just losing weight. Who knew?! Pure Barre is helping me carve out a new body, one I’m proud of, one I know is healthier, one I hope to keep improving and stay healthy.
They can do the same for you too! If you’ve thought about trying it, DO IT! I’ll be honest, after your first class you’ll be dead, ha! But that night as you joke to your friends and family about how hard it was, you’ll begin to get the urge to go back again. I don’t know if it’s the natural instinct to not want to fail (ha!) or what, but you just WANT to go back, NEED to go back. Then one class turns into two classes, which quickly turns into FIFTY classes. And before you know it, you’re addicted to it and have a rockin’ body to show for it! It’s win-win my friend.
So have you heard of Pure Barre before?
Have you ever tried it?

This is fabulous!!! I am restarting my Pure Barre routine, eek! How many classes are you doing a week to make that much progress in just two months?
Thanks and happy LTB!!
Thanks! I try and go everyday…I mean I have an unlimited package, so why not?! 😉
