Earlier this week I posted some fun ways to celebrate Father’s Day. Well if you are a local DFWer and want to have some fun this weekend, then head over to the Glory Days Car Show off of Camp Bowie!
Not only will this be perfect if dad’s a car lover, but it’s FREE and family-friendly! Those two things are just hard to beat. Not to mention, how often does an event like this happen? Not very weekend, so kick off your summer right and have some fun! Don’t miss the cars, live music, and FOOD! Here’s the details:
Camp Bowie District Presents its 3rd Annual Glory Days Car Show

WHO: Camp Bowie District
WHAT: Calling all car enthusiasts! Camp Bowie District is hosting its 3rd annual Glory Days Car Show. Spend the evening browsing through more than 100 classic cars on display, including: hot rods, custom cars, vintage pick-up trucks, muscle cars, motorcycles and more.
About 40 People’s Choice Awards will be given out, including: Favorite Classic Car and Hot Rod, Best of Show, Best Work in Progress, Special Interest Cycle, Best Late Model — to name a few.
Guests will also enjoy live music by Austin roots rocker Jesse Dayton, along with gourmet burgers by Easy Sliders.
WHEN: Saturday, June 8th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
WHERE: 8000 Camp Bowie West (next to Sutherlands) in Fort Worth.
COST: Public admission is FREE. Registration for showcasing a car is $10. To enter an automobile, contact D&D Rockin’ Rods at either DDRockinRods@msn.com or at 817-797-1197. Car entries can also be registered at the event.
