Here’s the thing, I am SO not a fan of bugs. Like going outside finding insects, playing with them, and keeping them as pets was NEVER my thing. In fact I still go into panic mode when I see my boys outside picking up bugs wanting to show me thinking they are the COOLEST thing. Whew, my skin is just crawling typing this, ha!
So if I’m not a fan of those suckers outside minding their own business, then I am sure as heck not happy at the thought of them invading MY home. And sadly one thing I have learned about life is Louisiana is that they have their own special breed of bugs. Bless pour hearts. In fact I was talking to a native Louisianan the other day and she informed me that not only do they have fire ants here (I SO thought I had escaped them from Texas!), but they also have pretty big cockroaches. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I do NOT want to see any COCKROACHES inside. Can you imagine them in one of my kids’ rooms?! No sir.
That’s why I’m thankful I’ve found Hot Shot® Insecticides. They are not only a friendly, approachable and family-oriented brand, but they take pride in providing homeowners with solutions that help to keep their homes free of pests. Now no pest will feel at home when I spray these bad boys. And when I say I, I really mean Sam, ha! Just so we’re clear. Mama stays away from anything even bug pictured! Yes, I AM that much of a wimp, but I’d almost bet I’m not alone! Am I?!
This month Hot Shot® Insecticides has a Sweepstakes campaign on Facebook! The them is: “Who’s the Hero?!” So is it mom or dad who keeps bugs from feeling at home? Head on over and tell them who’s the Hero in your home!
How do you keep bugs from feeling at home?
