As I’m sure most of you know (because I have plastered it all over every social media outlet possible, ha!) but last weekend was the LONG awaited Influence Conference.
I’m not sure the initial reason I jumped on board to go to this conference, but I can tell you it wasn’t for the strategy session (which I went to all of them). It wasn’t for the life sessions (which I cant wait to hear!). I think I really wanted to see my internet bubble burst into real life. There were so many women I have invested hours in chatting with, praying for, learning about their lives and families, and I just wanted it all to be “real”.
I mean it already WAS real to me…but I just wanted to squeeze their faces. Be IN their pictures, praise Jesus together IN PERSON…not through a keyboard.
And you know what?
That happened!
And boy did it.
I was able to see these ladies as our savior saw them.
Love on them.
Laugh with them.
Share life with them.
They were able to brush off all of my sarcasm and extrovert tendencies.
Some of them were exactly like I pictured in my mind.
Other’s weren’t…but they were often BETTER!
The barrier was broken and we all were there…at one place together.
It was beautiful!
Then on the last night, we all gathered together and praised our Savior.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t cry.
Because I did.
I heard some lady say, “I have a Jesus Hangover”. And boy is that true!
So if you were to ask me if I got anything out of it…YES!
Wondering if I’d go back next year….YES!
You see, not matter WHAT I went for, we were all sisters…sisters in Christ.
And that was good enough for me!

I loved seeing all the pictures on Instagram. I definitely started researchimg the confrences id like to attend next year and this is one. Im glad you had such a great time and got to meet some lovely ladies.
You are SUCH a blessing to me, friend. I’m soooo thankful you were the first person I met and you didn’t think I was a weirdo. Or at least you didn’t tell me if you did.

Worship, woow, that part was the best. Totally overwhelming to say the least. I just finished up my second Influence post and you might be in it–it’ll post on Thursday. Wait with bated breath…
