It wasn’t until I had children of my own that I really began to think about the products I used, and the things I put on my body. Frankly the only thing that matter before them when I was shopping was the price. I loved me a good deal (and still do), but actually thinking about if the products I used were harmful to myself or the environment, nope it didn’t concern me. Isn’t it funny how children can put things into perspective for you? So I found myself trying to find the PERFECT products that were both effective and that I trusted. Lucky for me Christopher Gavigan and Jessica Alba had the exact same thoughts and thus The Honest Company was born!

It was easy to fall in love with the company and their amazing products:
“The Honest Company passionately believes in creating effective and unquestionably safe, eco-friendly, beautiful, convenient, and affordable products for babies and homes. The growing product line is comprised of eco-friendly diapers and a natural line of bath, skincare, home cleaning, and organic nutritional supplement products – all packed in convenient bundles that can be customized, personalized, and conveniently shipped whenever needed.”
So simple. I wanted to sit down and evaluate everything we used, did we need it, could it be replaced, was there a better option. We were headed for a new life. An honest life. First stop on the new honest life train was daipers. As a mom of five I cannot tell you how many of those suckers we go though. Because of that I needed to be conscience of cost as well as quality. These diapers are not only great for sensitive skinned little babies, like Pippa is, because they don’t have any risky fragrances, lotions, or latex; but they are also very effective. I mean nothing is getting out of that ultra absorbent barrier…it’s like Fort Knox in there! PLUS they have the CUTEST patterns and designs?! I was sold on them right at that moment, ha!

Next we needed to check out the bath and body products. Did you know that The Honest Company’s are natural, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and pH-balanced? Yeah, me either. What we were using was not so flattering on the ingredients side. And to imagine, we use this on our kids…and ourselves for Pete’s sake. The cool thing about the Honest Company’s body wash and shampoo is that adults can use it too! Now the bathroom doesn’t have to be cluttered with product bottle, after product bottle. Score!

Finally it was time to look at our cleaning products. Isn’t everyone looking for a better way to clean?! How about a more natural way? Well, The Honest Company’s line of advanced plant-based cleaning products is tough on dirt and safe for you. Frankly, I appreciate that so much because we are a messy brood so I NEED to trust that the products I use will not only visibly clean, but also keep us safe from nasty germs.

See, they really have tried to cover every aspect of your life, including health and wellness products. Can you see why these products excite me?! And what kind of friend would I be if I shared all about the awesomeness that is the Honest Company and didn’t offer you anything?! Well you are in luck! Both my kids have crazy sensitive skin and I’ve heard their diapers are great for sensitivie skin babies.
I think it is funny that you posted this today because I just came across this company yesterday and am debating getting the trial offer. My little ones are out of the diapers, but I think it would be great to get the shampoo, hand soap, and lotions. It is good to hear that you love these products!
Love this company as well. 🙂
I love the Honest Co.! We use their laundry detergent/dryer sheets, toothpaste, and dishwashing soap. I love that they are free of harmful chemicals!
It is so great to find natural healthy products for our babies!
