Southern girls love their pearls! I mean the two always go together…like it’s on the same level as sweet tea. Pearls are where it’s at!
But, I wanted to make my own necklace with a twist.
Could that BE any cuter?! And since I know you’re going to want one too I’ve made an easy DIY Pearl Necklace tutorial for you.
What You’ll Need:
*pearls
*soft flex jewelry wire
*ribbon
*circle jewelry ends
*bead clamps
*scissors
*needle nose pliers
Cut 12 inches of soft flex wires, and thread the wire through all the pearls.
Place bead clamps at both ends.
Thread the circular end and put the end of the wire back through the bead clasp.
Use the needle nose pliers to clamp the beads down. Do this at both ends.
Cut desired length of ribbon and thread it through the circular ends.
Tie the ends of the ribbon into a bow, creating 2 layers of ribbons and a cute tied end.
Now you have a cute little pearl necklace with the ability to interchange the ribbon to match any outfit! Plus, it looks super cute on!
Don’t you just want to go out and make your own?!
Well do it! And send me a picture of you modeling yours…I’ll post it up on the blog!
*While I love to do crafts & tutorials, my sister has some great ideas too. This is one of them!*
