Five on Friday - Week in Recap

Well this is a first for me. But why not jump right in there and share with you my Five things for Friday! How about a little weekly recap today, shall we?!

{one}
One of the coolest things I’ve ever done happened this week! I was able to test drive the Lincoln MKZ for a few days! Y’all this car is SO amazing! Like I could live in it. Now I’m just trying to figure out which kid(s) doesn’t need a college education so I can get one.

{two}
Penelope turned TWO on Thursday and I want to die! How can this be?! She is even old enough to start ballet! Where did my baby go?! But let me tell you, she is the funniest/orneriest little girl I have ever met! Seriously, I tell people that is how I must have been when I was her age. You’re welcome mom and dad, I was a BLAST to raise!

Let me tell you something. I have the best driving record around. No lie. Now I don;t really say that to brag, in fact it drives my family NUTS. Probably because I’ll point out illegal moves they make on the road and freak anytime I accidentally go even the slightest above the speed limit. It’s not because I am this amazing law abiding citizen, no police officers make me SO nervous and I’m scared of them. Who knows, why?! But I always have been. It’s like someone enrolled me in the “Scared Straight” program and I’m afraid of what might happen if I don’t obey the laws! ha!

With that said though, I swear I get pulled over a ton! Want to know why?! Because we can NEVER keep our van “up to code”. Whether it be a tail light out, expired tags, expired inspection, etc. something always seems to go wrong and I get pulled over. Now it never happens with Sam…which aids in his lackadaisical efforts to fix said issues. But I, on the other hand, am overly paranoid and never want to leave the house, scoping out cops left and right, afraid of the inevitable. Getting pulled over. And without fail it happens. Just like yesterday.

For the record…the officer thanked me for my politeness, but still gave me a ticket. ha!

The boys will be starting school on Monday, and I CANNOT believe it! Since when do I have a first grader?! And when did Titus become old enough to go to kindergarten. Someone hold me! Their school had a “Meet the Teacher” night and it was so cute to see the kids get all excited for their new classes. Titus’ teacher is actually Ethan’s from last year and we could NOT be more excited. We LOVE her! Of course after that fun outing we needed to celebrate with dinner, school boys’ choice. This is the best picture I could get, ha!

Last night I had a little girl’s night and went out with a friend. Can you guess what we did?!?! Got tattoos!! Oh yes we did! And while I would LOVE to show you a picture of said tattoo, I think it might be better to wait until it’s not swollen and scabby, because that is oh-so attractive, ha!
