As the temperature gets higher and days are spent outdoors with family and friends, wouldn’t it be nice to have a tasty dish to chow down on? One that isn’t too heavy but still packs a little kick?! Well I must tell you, this salad is no ordinary one…because it is straight up amazing! Your taste buds will thank me for introducing you to it.
And this my friends is Bang, Bang Shrimp! So let’s get to making this because my mouth is watering.
Here’s what you’ll need:
* 1lb. of peeled, deveined shrimp
*1/2 cup of sour cream
*1/4 cup of Thai sweet chili sauce
*6 drops of sriracha
*3/4 cup of cornstarch
*1/2 cup of plain breadcrumbs
*1 tsp. of garlic powder
*vegetable oil for frying shrimp
*Salad fixins’ – (spinach leaves, tomatoes, chopped green onions)
In a bowl mix together cornstarch, breadcrumbs, and garlic powder.
You can also add salt and pepper to taste here is you’d like.
Toss your shrimp into the dry mixture and coat well.
In a deep pot bring vegetable oil to a boil over medium-high heat (365 degrees).
Add in shrimp and let fry for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Take shrimp out and let cool for a minute.
In another bowl mix together sour cream, Thai sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.
Toss in your shrimp and coat well.
To serve make your salad then top with the Bang, Bang Shrimp!
