I absolutely LOVE shopping at World Market. Really, it’s such a fun trip especially with all the different country product influences. My house can look as though I’m an adventurous world traveler, even though my dreams of traveling have yet to come true with four small children, ha! Fake it ’til you make it, right?!
With the holiday season approaching I knew just where to go purchase gifts for those friends and family members who LOVE to travel as well. And when I was there World Market did NOT disappoint!
I created this gift basket for a family member with a love of travel and color! World Market had an amazing display up themed around the movie Life Of Pi and I totally took advantage of it! have you heard of the movie?! Life of Pi is the story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper’s son, who survives a disaster at sea and is thrown into an epic journey. While adrift in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with another, a fearsome Bengal tiger. The movie opened in theaters November 21, 2012. Shopping proved to be a little difficult because I actually had to decide on what to buy, which meant leaving some of my other favorite beauties behind. Fear not, I’ll just have to head back and buy them for myself, score! Aren’t the scarves and jewelry gorgeous?!
The pop up tent with Life Of Pi inspired items, was like a wonderful explosion of color! And I LOVED it!
Paisley even had a blast shopping with me! Though I had to pretty much pry her away from the ornate chess table set. She was flat out in love!
The finished gift basket was simply amazing! Oh so bright and cheery! Two of my favorite items were the stunning set of Life Of Pi bracelets and the bright blue Life Of Pi Christmas ornament. The set of gold bracelets just popped with all the colors, and how perfect were they for my fun spirited gift receiver. Also, I couldn’t leave the shopping trip without one of the colorful ornaments. And I have to say, the color of that blue is simply amazing! I might just have to paint a room that color, ha!
