Saturday I was able to attend Bloggy Boot Camp in Dallas. Now everyone who went will speak of it’s wonder and try to encourage you to attend the next event. But I have 5 reasons why you should not attend. If any of these reasons describe you, then heed my warning and run from Bloggy Boot Camp as fast as you can!
1. You do not like your blog. Because unfortunately, at this conference there are many talented speakers trying to invest time into helping you better your blog. Definitely DO NOT attend if you like that your blog has no purpose, poor design, and only 1 reader. For you my friend will only be annoyed with all the design tips, inspiration, and growth strategies.
2. You are not a fan of writing or reading. Then you would throw a fit with the information packed session on writing an ebook. And let’s face it, if you don’t like to read, then who else would want to read?!?! After hearing the speakers and meeting new bloggers, you will have to resist the urge to run and read all of their blogs! And for a non-reader, this will be sheer torture!
3. Free stuff makes you sick. HATE IT! Who even wants free stuff? At Bloggy Boot Camp there was swag thrown at us left and right. It was quite disgusting actually. I mean, wouldn’t YOU rather pay for something than get it free??? Oh, and you know what is worse?! Their sponsors hosted parties with free food! Oh the horror!
4. You’d rather not meet new people. If you’d prefer only stalking the people online then do not go. Because you might just meet a ton of people you are already tweeting with and more you NEED to be tweeting! And some of these ladies are flat out awesome! But just to be safe, I’d stay home.
5. If you are allergic to laughter. Seriously, get your epi pen out because that is all we did! These ladies were straight up hilarious! And if you are allergic to laughter you might just go into cardiac arrest. This would just be horrible…so don’t do it.
Yep. It’s pretty simple.
