Silence on the Home Front

Things have definitely been silent on the blog this week. 

I am SO sorry, but honestly I have been tackling the LARGEST wedding/order to date! I am SO beyond flattered that my sister believes in me and loves my work enough to have it in her wedding. With all the flattery also came stress, ha! Raising FOUR kids, owning an online business/blog AND undertaking such a large order has been challenging, BUT totally worth it! This past weekend my mom heard my S.O.S. cry, took off work, and headed over here to completely watch my kids (and she even cleaned too…what?!?!) so I could work! 

This has really been a family effort!

Here are some pics of the busyness that has occurred! 

1. I got my hair did! Seriously I LOVE the red and I’ll be rocking at the wedding!

2. My best good friend Audra drew this thumbprint tree guest book for my sister. IT. IS. PHENOMENAL. Check out her shop!

3. little bow ties and boutonnieres for the ring bearers…my boys, ha!

4. corsages for mothers, grandmothers, and helpers

5. Boutonnieres for the men!

6. A bridesmaid bouquet. It’s a kissing ball. SO FUN!

7. While working I jammed that sucker in my thumb. I thought I was going to DIE it was so painful.

8. The hair pieces for the bridesmaids and flowers girls (my girls!)

9. Yes…those are lovely bags under my eyes from all the LATE nights. Concealer don’t fail me now!

10. Bouquets went on there 7 hour journey the other day. For the record, they arrived there safely. Whew!
