Well today I am without internet.
Sadness, I know.
But while I am trying to unpack my house and get it somewhat normal, I have a fun guest blogger for you today!

Meet Isabelle and Nicholas…my kids.
We kicked off summer with a little front yard fun. Isabelle needed a little help from her big brother to get started…
This proves you are never too old to run through the sprinkler.
Getting a little braver…

The day wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t make Isabelle stop for a close-up shot. She rarely ever looks at the camera, much less smiles for me. I ran out of those when she was a baby. I admit I take a lot of photographs of her, I can’t help it, she is so cute and I’m a photographer. What can I say?!?
They take turns spraying each other with a water hose. I love Isabelle’s face in this series, I can’t get enough, she was having a blast.
Then, Isabelle turns the water hose on herself…
and the camera. This is when it is time for me to join in on the fun and get soaked by the kids.
Lastly, my kids aren’t always so thrilled about taking photos for me. I have to make up sessions that I know they will have fun with and enjoy, but I can still direct them to do what I want. Isabelle getting Nicholas with the water in his face, that was his doing, not mine. J He only had to show her once.
