As I was figuring out what to blog about…
I found myself in a familiar place where I tend to do a great deal of my thinking…
the toilet.
yes I just wrote that.
But, if I hadn’t been there tonight you, my beloved reader, would not be able to help me with my dilemma.
Recently I have seen commercials on this very topic, and further I have heard of knock down drag outs discussions stressing the importance of either side.
What is this heated debate?
Over or Under?
Do you have your toilet paper roll over or under?
toilet paper…so important.
seriously?!
Have I missed out on a critical, functional part of my life?
I mean, I don’t pay attention to how I put the roll on.
Is that my mistake?
So help me out here…let me see the light.
Which way do you put the toilet paper roll on?
Does it matter to you?
Why?
Cause I don’t know if I could go another day without knowing the answer to this!
OVER!!! And if my love puts in on backwards (he doesn’t care or pay attention, and usually just puts the new roll on the back of the toilet, but whatever!) I change it for him. That probably makes me a little weird. I may or may not have changed it to “over” at my in-law’s house. Maybe. 🙂
Always OVER…for some reason I can’t tear it strait if it’s under. (And like Haley, I have been known to change it around if it’s the “wrong” way!)
I really don’t care as long as it’s on the freakn’ tp holder. Jonathan like to put it on the windowsill or towel holder in front of the toilet. That means I have to stand up, not so much fun.
definitely over. Why? I don’t really know. BUT I have most definitely been known to change it if it’s wrong. HAHA

Dude. We have 2.5 kids. It’s a miracle if one of our 2.5 bathrooms isn’t completely out of toilet paper, let alone having the roll on the holder. I’ve never thought twice about which way it goes on, as long as it’s ON instead of sitting on top (seriously, it takes 3 extra seconds to put it on the tube thing, why is it always perched precariously on top???)

Over. It has to be. I’ll change it if it’s not. And I do think that it is a good sign if you and your hubby will get along if you do it the same.
I change it frequently when I am even in my friends and family’s house. Over leads to less hassle for your hands to grab and touch the toilet paper. 🙂

Honestly, though, I’m a little happy if my husband even puts the roll on the tp holder. 🙂 But, I still fix it. 😉
I actually prefer under…. but I usually put it over or my 3 year old can’t seem to reach it. He likes to use all 4 toilets in the house. :-/
When we can actually put the toilet paper on the holder (our toddler is fascinated with pulling all the paper off the roll) I prefer over. Under simply doesn’t make sense to me. 🙂
UNDER! If I put it over, my children waste way too much! It’s like free range, and that’s not happening!

I’ve never understood this debate–but probably because I’m pretty sure I never even notice which way the roll goes. I’m just grateful that there is a roll!

i have found that it rolls better if you do it under, but then, i don’t like having to hunt for the end of the roll when you put it that way… so OVER.
