Gotta tell you, I really wasn’t expecting much from Valentine’s Day. Not because I have a slacker husband, but we really haven’t ever made a big deal out of the day. But when Sam told me that he had plans for us I got a little excited. How was he going to make this happen especially since we had four kids in tow?!? Ha!
But the man DID have a plan, and a great one at that!!! After the kids went to bed Sam made me get all dressed up as he went and got dinner he had pre-ordered. The man came home, set the table up all romantical (so not a word, but I like it!), and put on a suit jacket. He then escorted me to the dining room and began to explain why he chose our dinner to be Olive Garden.

We then spent the next couple of hours eating some good food, talking (I actually printed off a set of questions to ask your spouse I found on pinterest!), and enjoying each other.
Awe, that is so sweet!! Sam is a good one. We are so lucky to have such great husbands. 🙂
