Ethan has just amazed us with all that he knows.
And being a parent and needing to brag on my little man I have (actually Sam) compiled a video with a few things to brag on him.
First of all, one day we were all sitting down at the table about to pray for our meal and Ethan began saying the “Pledge of Allegiance”…awkward timing. haha! But even more so, I NEVER taught him this. I was so shock and impressed! I guess that’s why I send him to preschool!
As a parent you know that singing random songs to your children is apart of the job description. Whether you are a good or bad singer, they don’t care…they just want to be entertained. haha! Unfortunately my kids have to suffer through my singing, God bless them.
Anyway, the other day instead of singing the “Bumble Bee” song for the one millionth time, I decided to try something new. Since kids are like sponges and can remember anything (which is not always good, ha!) I wanted to teach them the books of the Bible in song. That’s how I learned them, and I’m pretty sure there is nothing cuter than your 4 year old saying “Deuteronomy”. No lie.
It was a big hit.
And here is my oh – so – brilliant boy sharing all he knows!
Isn’t he so smart?!?

Love it (and his little heartthrob hairdo). I STILL sing the Old & New Testament songs from my daughter’s Wee Sing Bible Songs tapes in my head – that’s how I learned my books of the Bible – didn’t learn them until I was almost 30! Great job 🙂 Lisa
wow. he can name the bible chapters better than me! Go ethan!
Hey, I’m not sure when he grew up, but I am thinking he and Braden did it about the same time!
Good job on the books, Ethan!
Oh my goodness! He is adorable. Miss that kid!
Adorable! I think my favorite book was “Fewonhe!”
WOW! I always knew that kid was incredibly smart but that is awesome!!! He is growing up SO much…
he totally looks like you! I always thought he looked like Sam but no way, he’s totally you with dark hair. All of your kids look just like you. Paisley is a good mix of both.
Anyways YES YOU LITTLE GENIUS!
I didn’t even know Obadiah was a book in the Bible…
