Today I am partaking in a blogging day of silence because I am overcome by anger and grief.
Why could that be?
It all happened during the Arkansas vs. Auburn football game today!
Let’s list the issues:
* We lost our star Quarterback due to concussion in the 2nd quarter.
* The SEC refs called an unfair game…including a phantom touchdown, which I about had a heart attack over!
* The announcers clearly favored Auburn (which didn’t affect the game, but added to my agitation. Nothing we could do impressed them…and I must say, we are quite impressive…haha!)
* Despite the all around stellar performance from our 2nd string QB, he ended up throwing 3 interceptions which Auburn capitalized on and turned into touchdowns.
* Our defense was lacking…and for the most part, so was theirs!
* All of that resulted in our loss!
Yes, I am crushed.
My poor Hogs…so I say all of that to say, the moment of blogging silence begins.
(anyone else have any sad college football stories for today? aka South Carolina)
