I was SO excited at the end of this post, because I thought my worries were over.
That does not seem to be the case.
Lucky me!
What is up with these hives????
We thought that the culprit causing these suckers was a new clothes detergent…but we are actively cleaning EVERY piece of clothes that might have even touch something washed using this detergent.
And yet I still have all of these splotches…
I’m popping Benedryl like its candy,
I just don’t know.
Could it be stress????
That’s what some people are telling me. If it is stress then HOW DO YOU DE-STRESS???
So here’s where you come in…help me?!?!
What are your thoughts?
And just for the sake of you not keeping that horrific picture of my face in your mind…here’s a better one!
See, I’m actually pretty cute!
(well compared to the above pic, haha!)

Have you changed anything in your diet lately?
Have you changed anything in your diet lately?
Grab the book “Prescription for Nutritional Healing” It has 4 pages on hives, what causes them, possible culprits, and a mega list of vitamins, herbs and foods that will help- hope you get some relief fast!
make sure you tell you’re mind and emotions YOU are in charge of them, not the other way around. And really mean it, and know that it’s TRUTH.
I don’t know what it could be from, but if it’s stress, that’s my suggestion. I have to do that often:)
If you aren’t going through any majorly stressful event, then I would doubt it’s from stress. My thought is still a food allergy. Bodies can change and even if you haven’t added a new food, you can still develop allergies to things that once had no effect on you. Does your insurance cover allergy drs? Might be worth it to do some testing.
Hope they go away soon. No matter the cause, they can be awfully uncomfortable. So sorry!
I’ve had the SAME thing twice this summer and I have no idea what it’s from!!! I had to go in to the doctor because mine were so bad. Benedryl didn’t do ANYTHING for me or oatmeal baths… They gave me Prednizone, Benedryl and Pepcid AC all together and after a few days of taking it, it finally went away the first time. This last time it flared up in an hour, then got better overnight, but I had it for about 5 days and it finally went away. You may try to go to the doctor????? Or get allergy tested. I’m going to if mine comes back! Good luck!
POSSIBLY stress, but I agree unless you have had a build up or something has changed maybe??? If so….YOGA…I love love love it. (when i get to go!) Otherwise, I would systematically go through what in your life could have changed in the past coupla weeks/days before the start. Yikes! (hopefully starbucks hasn’t changed something!!! lol)
Hey, I’m not sure what’s up with the hives. It could be allergies , stress or any number of things. If it is stress, I usually meditate or pray. If that doesn’t work, I try to call up a close gal-pal for a solution or to help figure out what’s stressing me. If that doesn’t work and it’s a pure physical stressor, I have a glass of wine and read a good book. Yoga like someone else mentioned is pretty good.
