Today’s prompt: Why do you blog?
…………………………………….
Why do I blog?
It’s simple really…why not.
No just kidding.
In my very first post on this blog I wrote:
“Since everyone I know has a blog, I figured maybe I should join in too. I spend some time reading about their lives…so why should I deprive them of the great pleasure of mine…HA HA!”
Yes I started my blog as a means of keeping friends and family updated on the Estes’ lives. Because I love to brag on my kids; and tell you how cute, smart, and crazy they are. Frankly if you were their mom you would too. I’m just truly sorry that your kids aren’t as phenomenal as mine are.
Just kidding!….maybe.
But as I spent time at the computer chronicling our lives I found that most of my time was spent telling all of these unbelievable tales of parenting moments and a whole lot of random. Before I knew it, my blog had turned into a venting session or things you’d see on Ripley’s Believe it or Not. I joke sometimes that blogging is cheaper therapy…and thankfully it is (because I can’t afford to pay you guys by the hour), but more importantly I can tell you about all of my craziness and feel a tad bit normal.
You know the kind of normal I’m talking about…
Like when you sit down to blog while balancing your six month old daughter on your legs as she breast feeds, typing away…when all of the sudden she throws up all over you.
That kind of normal. Just hypothetical…I mean nothing like that never happens here. But if it did, it’s nice to know that other mothers have the same kind of moments. haha!
Seriously, some nights as I blog, I can’t even believe what has gone on that day…really. I’ve found the best medicine for most of the days that I have is laughter. I need to laugh and by George you should too. Because let’s face it I can’t afford to have a nervous breakdown, ha!
So kick back, relax and enjoy my rantings!

My blog tales don’t involve kids, but I sometimes think people couldn’t possibly believe the crazy stories I write. Which are 100% true.
