Well here it is:
I am ecstatic over today’s temperature.
Is that sad?
Who would have thought I would be begging for weather in the 80’s…not me! But man, can Texas heat get to you! For almost a month straight the temperature has been above 100 degrees! I’ve been seeing mirages containing, ice cream, sno cones, and water fall swimming pools. Anything to stay cool. Unfortunately I was stuck with sweat dripping from every crevice of my body (and I do mean every), chaffing (yes, I am sad to admit my thighs are best friends…so much so, that they cannot be separated! ha!), and leather seats (don’t you hate it when you stick to those suckers?!?!).
I am beyond ready for fall.
Let’s break out some jeans, long sleeved tees, scarves, and sassy boots!
Until then I will settle for not dying from heat exhaustion.
