I feel like I have been neglecting my first born a little. He has not gotten his fair share of blogging time. I’m sure he’s devastated, haha!
But this boy is one of a kind. Really, he’s a stinkin’ genius…and he didn’t get that from me! Sometimes I think he is smarter than me. No lie. Most people say that their child is “starting to get a personality”, well my boy came out of the womb with a strong personality demanding to be heard! He gives me a run for my money everyday…for real people. Now that he can sass, question, and repeat things I’ve said…oh my! Though he challenges me, I love him dearly and wouldn’t change his personality…I just need to teach him when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em! haha!
Ethan is quite the entertainer, and I don’t know where he gets that either, haha! Every time I turn around he is telling stories, making up songs (to which he insists on me singing with him…how’s that suppose to my dear?), and using his imagination. The cutest thing to watch, is Ethan entertaining his brother. Once Titus starts to laugh, Ethan’s eyes light up and he has to “perform” said task over and over…Yay for the sound of broken records at our house!
Also, I have never seen so much energy in one child. For real! He is never tired, and goes from 0 to 100 in two seconds flat! haha! He’s always running, jumping, climbing, and diving….and I cringe because I see the hospitals visits and bills in our near future. He’s just like his Gpops…and that scares me!
But most of all, he loves to learn about Jesus. What a blessing. Granted he tends to mix up the stories and tells me how it’s really supposed to go. I just pray that as he gets older he uses his endless energy, love for entertaining, and strong willed personality to bring glory to the Lord. Can you imagine. This boy could be unstoppable! In a humble, God fearing kinda way, haha!
So though it may seem like I’ve been spending time focusing on the other two beauties in my life, that is incorrect. Ethan could never be forgotten, because he is dearly loved…and he makes sure we hear him…all the time.
Like now…as he just slammed his brothers fingers in a drawer.
Oh joy!
