On Saturday I finally took my dad to the gun range for his birthday.
Nothing says bonding like a father and daughter shooting things! haha!
I should’ve been his boy (haha), but we had a blast!
Let’s do it again old man!
On our way!
Excitement!
No wimpy 25 feet away for us…we shot from 50 feet!
Love this picture.
Didn’t know it was zoomed in though.
No booger, whew!
That’s better, but I look a tad scary.
Intimidation….check!
My dad’s 45mm was our pistol of choice for the day.
Look at the smoke coming out of the barrel.
Oh yeah, we meant business!
One of the casing jumped back and hit my dad in the neck after firing.
He jumped and screamed merely shrugged his shoulders and brushed it off; who cares whether it was hot or not…we’re that tough.
This is just his re-enactment.
Love it dad.
Yeah my first time firing a 45mm, it has some kick to it.
much better…kinda.
Realizing that I didn’t do so well.
But I did manage to kill a bug on the ground.
I decided to skip hitting the target and just jump straight to killing things.
It was so on purpose!
(well that’s my story at least)
My dad did well.
Me….not so much.
I hit the target once and the board once.
(didn’t feel it was right to out shine the birthday boy)
Bring on the rifle
Oh yeah, did I mention that I am a whiz with the rifle.
Got a bulls eye.
PROFESSIONAL!
(just sayin’)
My dad, well he’s just a show off.
Yep, we’re BFFs.
Dad says it makes him feel like a stud with a gun on his hip.
Nice face….stud. haha!
Shot gun time!
Clay pigeons.
Who knew that they aren’t actually shaped like pigeons?!?!
(not me! haha!)
This is the fine contraption that throws the pigeons for us to shoot.
It’s pretty hard to work.
Takes great strength…seriously.
Aw yeah, baby!
Who’s your dad?
Me!
Well that concludes our first ever father, daughter shooting day!
Dad, I love you and I had a GREAT time!
HOLLA!

hahahaha this is so funny. Not as funny when you were out there PREGNANT! HA!!
