I am sure you are all wondering what the answer to my question in this post was.
Right?!
Frankly it was driving my husband crazy.
So the answer to my question is brought to you by the letter:
Sadly, I have done all the choices…but not in the same night.
That sure would make for one fun blog post. HA!
………………………..
Now for the real stuff.
I have really begun to stress over not having things ready for Paisley to come.
It’s just that phase in pregnancy…and will only get worse as my due date keeps creeping up.
But I remember with Ethan, Sam and I had everything ready to go by 34 weeks (where I am now). We even had the hospital bags packed as well as the car seat in the car.
First time parents…gotta love ’em.
Then with Titus, I began to feel the panic of an impending due date and started getting things together. Since both of the boys were going to have to share a room, I was stuck looking for bedding that could match what Ethan had…then had to scratch that at the last minute and make my own. Which if I remember correctly, wasn’t complete but one week before Titus came.
Now onto the third pregnancy.
Where does the time go????
I keep thinking she is going to pop out and not have a thing!
But it doesn’t help that I am super indecisive while pregnant. (yes honey, I’ll admit it) I think maybe I should make all the necessary decisions before getting pregnant, that way I don’t spend a couple months JUST looking for bedding!
And it gets worse….I can’t decide on clothes to buy for fear of wanting them all. I keep asking myself, “Is this really the outfit I want to spend my money on?” or “Is that too much?” And then nothing gets bought! Oh but I will go back to that website or store many times just to look at the outfit. (pathetic, haha!)
Can anyone help a poor girl?! HA!
End my suffering now.
I need a baby planner (like a wedding planner, but for baby arrivals).
This is my girl! And I have got to do it right!
Ladies….
Where do I need to look?
Tell me your favorite, shops, websites, etc.
I am enlisting you to baby plan for me! 😉 What shall she wear? What will her bedding look like? Room look like?
….it is up to you!
My husband and little boys thank you!
They need their mommy/wife for a bit!
Good Luck!

ok, as far as her bedding goes, like i said earlier, just find like 3 yards of fabric like you love at a fabric store, Hobby Lobby, online, wherever and make that her crib skirt. Because it’ll be EXACTLY what you want. you don’t even NEED a bumper, really, but if you want one, find a solid color one that would go with the fabric you chose at a baby store where you live. Or have someone make it but that can start to get expensive. But I’ve learned that once you have the MAIN portion of her bedding (the skirt, that’s what shows the most) there and done, everything else decoration wise falls into place and is so, SO much easier.
Secondly, with her outfits, I’M THE SAME WAY. I haven’t bought a single outfit for her yet, just gotten things as gifts. The answer to all your problems is: CHILDREN’S CONSIGNMENT SHOPS! If you are itching to get her just SOMETHING then go there, because you know kids grow out of stuff SO fast, that if you find a good shop, they have practically new, darling things for sooo much cheaper. I’m not getting Ruby clothes until I meet her and see more what she’s like. Just stock up on the cotton gowns, sleepers, onesies, etc. because that’s all she’ll be wearing for the first little bit, anyway.
i know how you feel, but REALLY if you think about it…we still have like 5 weeks left. Plenty of time, if you start now, to get everything done. Just don’t over do yourself, and
DON’T WORRY!
I agree about finding a fabric you love and making your own crib skirt. It doesn’t take long and that way you know you’ll love it! Who am I to talk, though. I finished putting Eli’s room together as I was having contractions that were like 15-20 min. apart. 🙂 Talk about panic attack!! His room was still full of boxes because we had just moved and I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Luckily those contractions were false labor and I had a little more time to make his room look just the way I wanted instead of “good enough”. Maybe false labor will be the motivation you need! 🙂 Oh i kid.
