Last night we had the annual Awana Grand Prix!
For those of you that don’t know what it is I’ll explain.
The kids get to buy a kit which includes everything to make a car. They get to choose the design and cut it out, but we had people at the church there to help cut out their cars in case there were incapable parents like myself! HA!
My dad chose the design and cut out Ethan’s car. He then further decided that he would kept it a secret from us until he finished it…what a good man! Because I think if Sam or I would have touched it then Ethan’s car would have been in SERIOUS trouble! HA!

Right before they sent the cars down the track! SMILE!
It was VERY intense!
Ethan’s car is the fourth one from the left…the black blur…haha!
They ran the cars about 5 times to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Ethan LOVED the races!
They had an adult section too. There’s my dad and my sister Stephanie.
I should have mad a car…next year!
My dad’s car is 2nd from the right and Steph’s is in the middle!

Now the moment you all have been waiting for…the results!
Ethan’s car won 4th in speed
(he was robbed. HA! right be for the last 2 heats he was running his car up to the start and dropped it…so it slowed down)
AND he won 2nd in over all design (thanks GPops!)

My dad even bought little people and thing to stick on the top…it looked SO real!
So we had a blast!
And my dad (GPops!) was the hero for the night!
Can’t wait ’til next year…when I’ll be racing!
