I had a slow blog weekend, so I decided to follow in the steps of many people on Facebook and get my “random” on!
25 Random Things About Myself:
1. I have a SEVERE addiction to shoes! I mean really I do! (though I have to admit that it is only second to my coffee/Starbucks addiction)
2. Though I seem very obviously extroverted, there are times where I am very self conscience and insecure!
3. I like to sing and pretend I’m the best…(Natalie Grant, Whitney Houston style!) But don’t expect it to sound the same! HA!
4. Even when I haven’t showered or I feel dirty, if I just wash my face I feel 10 times better.
5. Diamonds ALWAYS make me feel pretty! (And plus they NEVER make you look fat!) Yes ladies I struggle with materialism…don’t judge! HA!
6. My husband was my first and only kiss! Aren’t you so proud mom 😉
7. I often refer to myself as “white chocolate”, because I look white on the outside, but I am black on the inside!
8. I Love to dance! I mean booty shakin’, arms pumpin’ kind of dancing! (and the most Baptist way possible! HA!)
9. I tend to do #3 and #8 in the car…rockin’ it out in my mini van!
10. As much as I love the idea of being all girly I tend to always resort to basketball shorts and a t-shirt…my dad thought he had a son 😉
11. Though our first son was a surprise I couldn’t think of anything I’d rather do then be their mommy!
12. I am a movie quoter. And my favorite movie is Splash (don’t ask…just have always loved it!)
13. To go along with #12, If anyone gives me a movie quote, 9 times out of 10 I will be able to tell you the movie…I’m also great at 6 degrees of separation of Kevin Bacon! (fun game!)
14. I am a closet germ-a-phob!
15. I LOVE a clean house…I can’t function in a dirty one, but I NEVER seem to have my house clean!
16. I love to swim…used to be on the high school swim team
17. I wish I had more drive and desire to lose weight…I am really good at gaining it though
18. I like to cook
19. I gave birth to my first child using an epidural at the first sign of pain, had pitocin and an episiotomy (lot of things went wrong, ask me and I’ll tell you)…then with my second I swore to do things different (I educated myself!) and I went all natural! (seriously the best thing ever…and completely doable people!)
20. I LOVE the color pink…no ifs, ands, or buts!
21. I have never had a cavity
22. My sister and I share the same birthday…she was born one year after me! (that makes us Irish twins)
23. I have ALWAYS been a dare devil…in high school I was even voted most daring!
24. I would love to have a dog…and not just any dog, but a bichon frise!
25. I love to laugh and make people laugh! I was born an entertainer!

I am very impressed that you have never had a cavity… And VERY, VERY impressed that you had an all natural births! You are awesome! I really, really, really want to have a VBAC (is that TMI?) with my next… We will see! There is nothing like BIRTHING a baby!

Lauren- Girl, if you know me that is SO not TMI…I laugh at that being a possibility of being TMI with me! haha! And I COMPLETELY understand with the pictures…no biggie! 😉
