Sunday I was in church and the praise band starting singing a song.
Okay I lied…it wasn’t a tear jerker… I was bawling.

Man this moment was long awaited…
Can you see how hard Kelly was crying!
What a blessing!

What a proud daddy!
He is just starring right into her eyes.
………………………………
Kelly said that they switched Harper to a ventilator which was amazing, and then as she finished posting her update the nurse called them in…so they could see Harper awake!
I can just imagine that time stood still as they walked into the NICU room.
First time to see their precious daughter’s eyes open.
Their hearts raced.
Hands shook.
And as they rounded the corner and caught a glimpse, the instantaneous tears that came flowing down their cheeks.
I mean, once again their hopes and dreams were being realized.
God not only gave them a child, but He was healing her, and using her for His glory.
Nothing else mattered.
Just that one moment as they were able to hold her hand.
Tell her that they were her mommy and daddy.
What a great beginning to song Harper is going to call life.
Harper baby, our God saves…and He is showing His healing powers on you!

I’ve been praying for Harper too. I LOVE your blog makeover! So trendy!! I also love the quote. I read that poem at my brother’s wedding, and it has always been one of my favs.
