The other day I had two interesting case pop up around here.
And since I am completely skilled to solve high risk, level 5, extreme importance cases…
I figured I could handle this.
Why am I qualified you may ask.
Because I have learned all I know from CSI (Las Vegas).
We all know it’s real… 😉
So here I embarked on my first official case in the Estes household.
I came across my first clue.
Exhibit A:
I had made this killer brownie tiramisu.After putting it in the fridge I cleaned up all my mess.
(though me cleaning is a shocker, you are not to stop and gawk…we have a case to solve!)
I then went into the living room and dress Titus in his pj’s and began to rock him asleep.
When I put him to bed I went back into the kitchen.
(now here is where I may have made a mistake…I do not have pictures of the crime scene…gasp)
I found the brownie box that I had thrown away on the table along with a brownish powdery substance all over the table and floor.
But what could that powder be?
So I licked it…
I had to narrow down the possibilities.
And you will be happy to know that the powder was brownie mix…whew!
Now I needed to figure out who did this.
I had two leads:
Sam
Ethan
…both very capable and I could imagine them both doing it.
So I went to talk to the suspects.
I cam across Ethan first.
He claimed to know nothing, but I had to further examine him.
Exhibit B:
Anything look out of the ordinary?
I thought so…
I caught you my dear.
Case solved!
……………………………………
Now onto case two:
I was in the kitchen and then I heard a scream.
I ran into the living room to see Ethan crying.
He was trying to talk to me, but he was so upset so I had trouble understanding him.
This is what I did see though.
Exhibit A:
Do you see the mark and redness under his lip?
We had to ice it.Anyway,
Ethan began to point to the end of the couch.
What could be there?
Was it the culprit?
So I looked…
and all I saw was…
Exhibit B:
So I used my deductive reasoning…
*Ethan loves to stand on the end of the couch (to my dismay)
*He also likes to jump off (I think he has a death wish!)
*I saw Titus’ bouncer at the end of the couch.
Anyone making any connections?
Ethan had jumped off of the couch trying to land in the bouncer and instead he smacked his face on it….lesson learned! 😉
Man I am good at this CSI stuff!
