Sunday Sam and I were out shopping (walking) in Fort Worth and we needed to stop by the new Apple store!…Anyway…Sam was in the Apple store getting help with his phone and I was outside walking around with Ethan and Titus…because let’s face it…Ethan does not mix well with things that could get broken…and we definitely couldn’t pay for what he breaks there!
So as we were walking I passed a man just waiting outside of a store…he kept looking at us. We walked a little further and turned around. Then a lady walked out of the store and started talking to him(probably his wife)…I overheard him say, “Isn’t that so beautiful!”…and I noticed her look over at me…she began to talk to me and tell me how beautiful it was that I was wearing my child! The man then asked if he could take some pictures of me and my children…I said yes…and of course he did. I felt a little weird…kinda like how you imagine the people in third world countries feel when a photographer takes their picture so he can go back home and “explain” their culture. But in a way I was kinda flattered…maybe I was his muse…the beauty of my mothering made him contemplate how parenting is done these days…who knows! The lady just kept saying how sweet we all were and got my email address so I could be sent a copy of the pictures…and here they are!
I apperciated that the lady noticed how beautiful it is to wear your baby…the bonding time, the closeness…you just feel complete…so isn’t it beautiful!
Oh my goodness, those ARE beautiful pictures! How great they were to email them to you for you to treasure! I also love to see moms so close to their infants. Titus looks so cozy and content. Sweet moment.

Wearing kiddos is a neat experience. The extra fabric also comes in handy. If I hadn’t been wearing Caleb today at church, his “accident” would have been on my clothes…instead it was on the carrier! Boy was I thankful!
