Anyway…back to the crazy week.

Last Saturday my dad started to not feel good…I thought that he was just exhausted, and his body was telling him to stop…good thing I am no doctor! Sunday he finally went to the doctor…my mom knew it was time when my dad said it was cold in the house and asked for blankets…he NEVER does that! At the doctor’s we found out that he had pnemonia and a bacterial infection. (are you kidding me? Is someone missing the fact that he has to walk on Friday?) So he was put on all medication known to man so that he could get better. Since he was down and out, mom and I had a ton of work to do!

We had to clean, get decorations, order food, bake, and get dad’s graduation outfit. I told dad that I would LOVE to shop for his graduation clothes…(you know, since he couldn’t do anything). He was a bit leary, but finally he agreed!

On Thursday everyone was to arrive for the graduation. I was held up at my parent’s house decorating and baking…I baked 3 gooey butter cakes and 3 batches of brownies. That day my mom had to fly out and back for work…since she was already at the airport she waited and picked up a couple of family members there too. Dad had a graduation banquet that night, and to top it all off, Stephanie(my younger sister) had a choir concert. Could we pack more stuff in one night? We didn’t get to bed until about 2:00.

Friday was the big day…everything went as planned and we had great time….but friday night Stephanie started running a fever and throwing up…(oh so convenient since we still had a ton of guests here. On a funny note, Friday night we went laser tagging with a bunch of the people. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to run around, but my theory was, all I have to do is find a spot and shot people. I was going to be the pregnant snipper…my code name was “Big Mama”. You laugh, but I was serious…and it worked, because I beat everyone!! Yep…big ole me!

The rest of the weekend was spent entertaining and dropping guests off at the airport!

Though it was fun, I am truly glad for it to be over.
