Three weeks.
Yeah today it’s three weeks since Pippa came into this world. As hard as it is for me to believe, I am also very ready to get moving and say farewell to the lovely post baby bump giggle. You see it is not so kind on the eyes I tell ya. And while I ease myself into exercising I’ve come up with a list of must have fitness items.
Things I really want and or could not live without!
Just making the list makes me want to put them on and get to moving!
1. Vibram Fivefingers – These shoes took the world by storm a few years ago and I just love them! They are a minimalist shoe and the original “toe shoes” that many have tried to reproduce. Vibrams are GREAT for your legs and feet, helping you to use and strengthen muscles you don’t normally with other athletic shoes. It’s just like you’re barefoot.
2. Ellie Work Out Gear – I LOVE Ellie work out gear because it’s a monthly subscription delivered to your door! They not only have FAB work out clothes, but they have stylists that help match outfits to your desires and needs! Who wouldn’t love to have fashionable items arrive in your mailbox monthly?!
Save 20% on Ellie!
3. Polar RC3 GPS – Perfect for running, this watch not only tracks your distance, speed and pace, but it also has GPS so you can see exactly WHERE you ran! You can map out your route. Also another cool feature is the heart rate monitor, because it’s good to make sure you stay in a healthy zone!
4. Nike Fuel Band – Is great because you can track your daily calories lost, see your activity, see where improvements need to be made, and set goals. The band syncs up to your computer, records your data, and you can even connect with other friends! Overall it’s a good daily reminder of keeping yourself active and pushing yourself to do more!
5. urBeats in ear headphones/ iPod shuffle – When you’re working out or running it’s so important to distract you and/or motivate you to keep on going! At least for me that’s a HUGE deal! So a good pair of headphones that STAY in my ears are a MUST. Also, I LOVE this little iPod shuffle! It’s so tiny, portable, and clips onto my gear for easy use. All of which are very important…especially when you rely on those tunes to keep you going, ha!
There you have it! My FIVE fitness must have items!
What would be your top five??

I would love to know more about the Fivefingers shoes. I’ve heard they are uncomfortable and hard to get used to – but that wasn’t your experience?

I seriously LOVE them. They did feel a little weird at first, but I had no issues at all getting used to to them. Now I think they are THE most comfortable shoe I own…NO LIE. My husband, parents, and sister all own a pair of vibrams as well and each of them love the shoes too!
