School’s out for summer!!
Hallelujah, Praise the Lord, its time to celebrate! Nobody is more excited about summer than myself. It’s time for pool parties, watermelon, adventures, and no more school. But if your kids are like mine, they can get bored really fast and I also want to add in some fun, creative ways to keep their minds thinking all summer long. I’ve found that if we add a little learning time during the summer my kids are mentally ready and on point for the next school year. Ethan, my oldest son LOVES math, that kid could almost school me in the subject. So he was excited when I introduced him to TenMarks Summer Math Program.
The TenMarks Summer Math Program is designed for students completing grade 1 through Geometry and Algebra 2, helping build their math foundation and skills over the summer break at their own pace and time, and benefitting teachers who typically spend the first few weeks of a school year re-introducing the previous years’ teachings. The program starts with a diagnostic assessment it uses to automatically create a personalized summer curriculum, which reviews concepts from the previous year, and introduces concepts for the year ahead. As students work through their curriculum, they use embedded hints and video lessons to refresh what they know while learning new material. The program adapts with targeted interventions for real-time learning assistance. You see, TenMarks believes that students learn best when they are individually engaged, nurtured, and motivated. Its programs are designed for the depth and rigor of the new math standards and every TenMarks lesson helps students build a strong conceptual foundation, improve problem-solving skills, and gain math confidence. TenMarks math programs have been used by millions of students across over 55,000 schools and over 12,000 districts.
One on one educational learning is my favorite! But one of the things that really drew me to TenMarks, was the fact that I could track his progress, see assignments, and create your own rewards as your child completes the steps and succeeds!
Ethan has had a BLAST being able to continue math this summer and be challenged in his learning. I mean this is my kids who says, “Yay, now I can learn division!” Who is he?! I’m so thankful that he will chose to “play” his math “game” instead of watch tv. He is working hard for his ice cream reward coming up soon.
If I’ve peaked your interest at all, then head over to TenMarks and check out their summer math program. This summer they are offering it to families for FREE!!! So you can add all of your children in, customize their learning levels, and let them have fun…for FREE! See more on the fun with TenMarks on Facebook and Twitter.
